Welcome to Kailor Education Center, your destination for a distinctive combination of computer skills, English, Chinese, and leadership training in Phieng Luang, Phou Koud, Xieng Khouang, Laos. Our goal is to tackle job skill gaps and empower at-risk youth, particularly in relation to pressing challenges such as school dropouts, human trafficking, and poverty.
About Kailor Education Center
The Kailor Education Center is a grassroots initiative in Xieng Kang, Laos, that provides foreign language instruction and diverse activities to empower marginalized groups through education. Despite logistical and infrastructural challenges, the center is a vibrant hub of knowledge and opportunity, dedicated to fostering a future where education is the cornerstone of community empowerment. The center's mission encompasses educational development, economic empowerment, and healthy lifestyle promotion, intending to create a ripple effect of empowerment and improvement for individuals and the entire community.
I.Educational Development
Objective 1: Empower marginalized groups through educational resources that promote cross-cultural awareness and facilitate both formal and non-formal education via skills training, internships, scholarship access, and knowledge acquisition.

Form support networks for individual and group self-determination.

Provide instruction in English, Chinese, Computer Science, critical thinking/acting, and various activities classes.

Celebrate and preserve cultural practices through music, dance, and ceremonial arts during free time.

Establish a library offering tools and online classes for those lacking resources.
II. Economic Empowerment
Objective 2: Enable individuals to discover and develop their skills to reach their full potential, providing training in various vocations and promoting their work in the market.

Foster literacy and leadership among girls, women, children, and youths.

Offer tailoring skill training for income generation to meet basic needs.

Build self-confidence, support, and reliance among the target groups.
III. Healthy Lifestyle Promotion
Objective 3: Conduct mental and physical workshops to help participants cope with hard work, stress, and pain by releasing endorphins and sharing personal experiences in a supportive environment.

Develop holistic wellness in girls, women, youths, and orphans, encompassing mind, body, and spirit.

Empowering Dreams
At Turning a Dream into an Opportunity, we believe in equal access to education for all. Our mission is to break down barriers that hinder individuals from reaching their full potential. Through innovative programs and initiatives, we strive to empower every individual to pursue their dreams and create opportunities for a brighter future.
How we fight for it
Over the past years, approximately 374 children have participated in our project., Due to a lack of ongoing support, some of them have dropped out or faced challenges such as early marriage. The remaining students are also at risk of leaving the program, highlighting the urgent need for continued assistance.

Transforming Dreams into Reality
Drawing from my experiences, I aim to create something more engaging for our children. Our vision is to rent a house in Phonsavanh, where tourists can come in and practice English and Chinese with the students. Expanding this project to the city will provide valuable opportunities for our children to enhance their language skills and gain confidence. How we dream for it
Unlocking Potential Through Education
Many of our students come from families living in the countryside, far from the city, making it difficult for them to afford transportation to meet tourists for language practice. As a teacher and learning center director, I would like to organize trips for these children to meet and practice their English and Chinese in person with tourists. This hands-on experience will greatly enhance their learning and confidence.
